Dark Ascension Prerelease and Release Events!

We have events coming up for the new Magic: the Gathering set, Dark Ascension!

The prerelease will be on Saturday, January 28th at 1:00pm. This event will be sealed deck and the entry fee is $25.00. Each player will get three packs each of Innistrad and Dark Ascension with which to build their deck. Each player will also get an exclusive transforming card!

The release event will be held on Saturday, February 4th at 1:00pm. This event will be sealed deck and the entry fee is $25.00. Each player will get three packs each of Innistrad and Dark Ascension with which to build their deck. Each player will also get an exclusive transforming card!

Prize payout will depend on the number of players but if you’ve ever played an event at Galaxy Comics then you know we are pretty generous with the pack payout. And foil cards. And playmats. And whatever other random stuff I can find to give away!

What suggestions do you have for Galaxy Comics?

It’s the start of a brand new year and that is historically the time that people make resolutions and try and change their life for the better. Well, Galaxy Comics is no different! This May we will be celebrating our 18th year of slinging comics in Saginaw and I like to think we are pretty good at it but there is always room for improvement! If you have ANY suggestions or comments on the Store, the staff, the product lines or anything then just let me know. We will read every suggestion but not all can be implemented, of course. “Make all back issues $0.05!” is not really realistic. However, any good ideas about the Store layout, products we carry, sales, club member benefits, etc. will be considered.

If you shop here what do you like or dislike? If you don’t shop here, why not? All we want is to be YOUR favorite comic and Magic store but we can’t do that unless you tell us what YOU want.
